There are a handful of premium features that requires a monthly fee. These are based on the number of students that are using the application. The Bronze plan includes numerous features such as award certificates, surveys, HTML editor, premium support, branding options, offensive word alerts, communication monitoring tools, one year of message storing with email synching for backups, class analytics and more. This plan costs around $5 per month or around $55 per year regardless of the number of students. The Silver plan costs around $5 per month for up to 19 students, $10 for up to 99, $20 for up to 299, $30 for up to 499, $40 for up to 999, $80 for up to 1,999 and $200 for up to 3,999. The Silver allows access to LDAP support, voice recording from browser that can be embedded into lessons, removal of Edu 2.0 branding and unlimited number of parent, teacher and administrator accounts. The Gold membership includes ecommerce access, 12 hour support response times, API, district reporting, simultaneous login prevention, administrator class sign off settings and graphic or numeric data display options. The Gold plan costs around $10 per month for up to 19 students, $20 for up to 99, $60 for up to 499, $80 for up to 999, $160 for up to 1,999 and $400 for up to 3,999. Yearly rates are also available.
Edu 2.0 is a handy application for any educator or school related organization. User pay based on how many students they have and many basic features require no payment at all which is a big plus.
